The Freshman (Retro VHS Packaging) [New Blu-ray] Title: The Freshman (Retro VHS Packaging) Format: Blu-ray Label: Mill Creek Genre: Comedy Video UPC: 683904635051 Release Date: 2021 Marlon Brando and Matthew Broderick star in this Godfather-inspired 80's comedy in Retro-VHS packaging! Matthew Broderick stars as Clark Kellogg, a naive film student who accepts a job with a local mobster after a small time crook steals all his belongings. Carmine "Jimmy the Toucan" Sabatini (Marlon Brando) is an importer bearing a startling resemblance to a certain cinematic godfather. When Sabatini makes Clark an offer he can't refuse, he finds himself caught up in a caper involving endangered species and fine dining. Co-starring Bruno Kirby, Penelope Ann Miller, Frank Whaley and written/directed by Andrew Bergman (Honeymoon in Vegas, It Could Happen To You), this hilarious comic caper will keep you guessing at every turn!- ...it's a brilliant comic masterstroke. - Roger Ebert/Chicago Sun-Times© DirectToU LLC.
