They weren't kindred spirits until, suddenly, they were. Tomoya has been trying to escape the loss of his mother and injuries inflicted by a dead-beat father. Nagisa is damaged as well, her fragile health so shattered that she's lost a year of school. But Nagisa has a dream: To revive their school's forgotten drama club, and in helping her, Tomoya finds a new purpose. And they're not alone. There's Kotomi, whose dark past is tied to Tomoyo's, and Tomoyo, whose sometimes violent and combative streak wars with her dream of becoming student council president. And then there's Fuko, whose ephemeral presence and isolation are so great that she seems to be fading from our world. Individually, they may be broken and lost, but together they might yet heal and become something more in the anime classics CLANNAD and CLANNAD AFTER STORY. SPECIAL FEATURES:.
