This moving and detailed story of friendship and love spans more than 60 years. In the 1930’s, outside of Moscow, seven teenagers shared a special relationship. Four German boys, two Americans, and one Russian girl formed a circle of friendship that would last all their lives, despite of their very different destinies (spy, filmmaker, prisoner of war, actress…). With the fall of the Iron Curtain and the opening of Russia, two of these friends reunite and together live the long overdue love and romance in the winter of their lives.
