30 April 1975: the last US military leave South Vietnam. The regime is still officially communist, but none can see that revolutionary enthusiasm that inspired the people. Why is Vietnam’s healing process so slow? Is it due to the denial of Buddhism, or to the eviction of the former Southern elite from any political decisions?

With footage never seen before, exclusive interviews and a revealing journey from Hanoi to Ho-Chi-Minh city, this film looks at where Vietnam stands today, and where it might be going towards in the new millennium.
